These bad guys stole the show.
The hero is remembered by everyone. Sonic, Kratos, Nathan Drake, and Lara Croft are just a few. These heroes are what their story is all about. They give their games life by giving the characters interesting growth and a personality that you can’t help but pull for. But bad guys often show depth and, strangely, humanity in a way that heroes don’t.
You can figure out a bad guy’s reason, justifications, and morals. The enemy usually takes it all, while the hero puts up a wall. The bad guy, who was meant to be the opposite of the good guy, can sometimes shine brighter than the good guy. With their smart lines and sarcastic personalities, some bad guys have become the stars of their own shows.
Ghirahim – The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Ghirahim is the main bad guy in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. He is the last boss you will fight before Demise, the final boss. I don’t mean any harm to Link, but he is a pretty simple hero to beat. Link doesn’t really have a personality; he just lets you play through him. He doesn’t have any lines of dialogue and can only make a few facial movements. Ghirahim, who is snarky and puts on a show for every fight, easily beats the Hylian hero in this way.
Ghirahim is the very meaning of flamboyance. From the way he waves his hair to the way he moves his hands, he has a style that no one else has. He is cocky and full of himself when he tells Link after their first fight that he didn’t kill him out of sympathy. Ghirahim is one of the best parts of Skyward Sword. He’s such a fun bad guy that you look forward to facing him.
Pyramid Head – Silent Hill 2
The Silent Hill series is known for Pyramid Head. Fans are dreading his coming because he is easily the scariest “face” of the game that doesn’t have a face. Pyramid Head’s red hat and butcher’s clothes, which evoked the town’s past executioners, made him a series mainstay after his first appearance in Silent Hill 2.
This scary enemy represents James Sunderland’s feelings of guilt and his desire to be punished. Pyramid Head is there to keep James human and make him answer for what he did in the past. With the Great Knife and Great Spear, which are tools of James’ inner pain, Pyramid Head shines brighter than James, and not just because he looks scary. It’s because of what he stands for.
Sephiroth – Final Fantasy 7
Fans of Final Fantasy who think Cloud is the best character in the series might not like this entry as much. Sephiroth is a star in his own right, even if he isn’t as bright as Cloud. Sephiroth is the main bad guy in Final Fantasy 7. He is cruel, scary, and royal. Sephiroth, who is also known as “One-Winged Angel,” really does look like a fallen angel with his long, icy hair.
He really is a fallen angel, because before he went crazy, Sephiroth was one of the shining examples of the Soldier program’s success at Shinra Electric Power Company. Even though Sephiroth wasn’t very good with people, everyone loved him and thought of him as a famous war hero. This bad guy lives up to his rock star reputation; from the way he looks to the way he acts, he’s everything that makes you want to know more about him.
The G-Man – Half-Life
Half-Life players will quickly recognize G-Man as the series’ mysterious and hard-to-find bad guy. While G-Man may look like a normal person, he is actually showing skills that change reality. This bad guy shows up in almost every book in the series for a reason, and he has his own fan group. Gordon Freeman, the main character, doesn’t say much and is never seen, but the G-Man talks very little and commands everyone’s attention.
No one knows who he really is or what his name is; they only know that he and his Employers are against the Combine. The G-Man is like a boss; he controls everything from the shadows and sometimes helps Gordon and sometimes gets in his way. We don’t know what drives him, which makes him a bad guy you want to figure out.
The Joker – Batman: Arkham
This doesn’t come as a surprise because The Joker is a bad guy who is better than Batman in every form, from movies to video games. The Joker and Batman were a perfect match. The Joker played the main bad guy in both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. The Joker really comes to life in this series, with Mark Hamill’s great voice acting and the way he moves and looks. He is the face of the show.
As a killer superhero, The Joker is always a threat to Batman and will go out of his way to bother the hero. His famous clown makeup and green hair are linked to the show.
Lady Dimitrescu – Resident Evil Village
Before Tunnel Rush even started, this bad guy stole the show. Everyone was looking at the Countess Alcina Dimitrescu as soon as the video and demo for Resident Evil Village came out. This beautiful and lively Lady was one of the game’s four minibosses, and Ethan would meet her first at Castle Dimitrescu.
Because Mother Miranda did experiments on her, Lady Dimitrescu turned into a mutant human aristocrat. She causes chaos and scares the locals by turning them into vampires. Maggie Robertson gives Lady Dimitrescu’s voice a deep, woody sound that is also very well done. Her story ended with sadness in people’s hearts because she was the bad guy.
